What drives you to play paintball?

Obviously since most of us are passionate about paintball were very driven players. If we weren't, we wouldn't invest the time and money into doing what we love.

For me, I think the driving force is my team, and the giddy feeling I get whenever myself or my team is playing some great tournament paintball. What drives you?

my driving force is my mom driving me to it:P lol but ya i luv it.. i luv practising every monday its fun.. until people start bonusballing.. then it gets annoying... but ya i luv to practise... except im running out of funds which is a major setback

umm paintball. that my drive to play. i tired it 8 years ago and finanly have found the funds, and the places to play. only problem is my dad thinks im ****ing away money on paintball. BUT since i started i have not spent any money on pot ^^ (cause i have none)

I like the fact the places are so friendly, you can go and sit around for hours and not be bored. I love playing, shooting people never gets old. getting shot on the other hand

I simply like the fact that it gets me off my rump and out in the world. If I didn't have paintball, I'd blow the money on other things, useless things.

The fact that it's fun as hell and great exercise? well that's just a bonus

Id have to say...my team mates! If it wasnt for them, and everyone else thats helped coached me in the past 5months, i wouldnt be having as much fun as Ive been having!!!

It is for me the thrill of the hunt and being hunted. That adrenilin rush is the best, and it is in a safe manner that is fun. Also the guys and hanging out with them chatting about the last round, and that unreal play or dive. Then there is just the X factor in paintball..that on any given field anyone with any type of equipment can take out anyone else. I love being out there when you see a wild bounce shot or impossible shot thru a crack or fluke spinning ball that curves and hits someone behind a bunker, or watching a ball actually sail down another player's barrel, just all the wild stuff you see on the field that alone is worth the price of admission and why other games like airsoft just don't cut it or have the same fun. And the fact you go out you never know who you will wind up playing with....from kids that you are amazed by, to some of the best pros in the world, heck you might even see a Star cause a lot are playing pball now, you just never know what will happen on the field that is what keeps pball fresh for me and why I dont just play tourney or woodsball or just speedball. And lastly it is a great tension/stress reliever man I never feel as relaxed as I do after a day of pball.

what drives me to play is the fact that once a week, i get to come out and relieve the stress of the past week by blasting away at people.

All of you said it very well...SnowyDawgy was long winded but very true. Its an amazing feeling of that adrenaline pumping through my veins and like many said.. shooting people doesn't get old (without jail time or a death sentence)
