    paint poll

The question is, would teams that practice at PAG prefer a white box type of paint for a lot less price or stay with what we use now.

I've never used the white box paint, so I'm not sure what the quality is like, but if it is still around the same then yeah probally the white box.

I'd have to try it first. How much worse could it be?

The white box option would allow more players to play more regularly, and thus facilitate more players' development and more high-caliber e-town teams in our great sport.

I say give it a shot.

Yah, white box is good paint for the price and it shoots straight......but sometimes it comes in bad batches and you get a real crappy case on occasion. I think if you had both the Competitive Edge White Box for a lower price and the paint your using right now at the same price it would give people the chance to play more often if there on a budget. And for the people who perfer a higher quality paint for there markers they can get what your using now.

Definatly White-Box, the quality would be less, but it would allow players to play/practice more often. And seeing as it would be practice paint, you don't need the top quality out there. Personally a chopped ball or two and the few curve balls you'll be throwing are well worth the saved money/more playing trade off. And, for the players who simply can't stand the White-Box, you could always allow the option of purchasing the higher grades of paint at the higher cost.

*Edit* Just looked at CanadianPaintball.com and the White-Box is $30 a case, which is half the cost of X-Ball Bronze. Having the option of saving half the amount of money you usually spend, or even shooting twice the amount of paint is definatly an amazing deal, even if the paint is lower quality.

It would definetly make it easier for me to come out pretty much every week.. after playing for a few weeks in a row, I'm on course for taking a break, simply because I need to pool my resources into other things.

ive tried both white box and the current paint and havent noticed big enough differences between the two to justify the price difference plus its just for practice. i say white box

  14. #14
I say go white box, i know im taking a break because I am trying to save up some money for university and stuff, so spending 3/4 of my paycheck on paintball just isnt practical at this point in my life. Thats why alot of you havent seen me out at the field in awhile. I finally sat down and prioritized, and god it sucks

wow its 50/50 ... i say whitebox because it would enable people who arent well off or kids that dont have jobs a chance to play more often.

notice that almost all the people who vote against getting whitebox don't even post and say why and the people for it are providing a ton of good reasons. Whitebox!
