I just picked up my Geo.
and as you guys all wanna know the +/- 's of the gun
Introduction:
Box was a typical eclipse box, comes in pretective gun case like always with eclipse lube (dow 33 i believe), orings, barrel, barrel plug, manuel.
Instruction Manuel:
Manuel is typical picture book design, same as every old ego, shows how it works and problems that can occur due to close bolt design
Firing
Using my DXS 68/45, i averaged 200 pballs/ 500 psi, so not bad for a closebolt marker stock, wwithout touching velocity dwell or break in time. Barrel was a standard 2 piece 0.693 shaft and shot aces
this gun is ridiculously accurate and little to no kick out of the box
its as if a dm and ego made a love child
the trigger is the biggest flaw, adjusting stock to proper takes about 30 mins to get it just right
Maintenance
Gun is very similar to an ego to take apart however one of the screws is hidden within grip so is a tad tricky to take out.
Gun literally has 4 screws (minus grip and eye screws), and is basically a solinoid, bolt, eyes and a board
the gun is so simple it is retarded, you can strip it in seconds if you know what you are doing
Overall
This gun is completly sexy in every way,
shoots ropes, no kick, accurate
mix a dm and and ego= geo.
