The tanks that say 3000 or 4500 and have a guage are air tanks the hold less gas but the air expands more consistently and wont freeze up as fast. your shot velocities will be more consistent with air but you will need to fill more often than with co2. any tank the says **oz is a co2 tank and these CANNOT be used with most high end electro markers. hope this helps keep it up and firing man.
HPA (high pressure air) and Nitrogen also are not affected by temperature differences ie: hot and cold, as much as CO2. More often than not the carbon wrapped tanks are lighter but tend to be more fragile. Not extremely but it is more likely to cause more damage if you drop it than a steely or aluminum tank.:drunken_s
