Ego Question
on my reg/velocity adjustor, if it is screwed all the way up should air be coming out of the breach?
and SOMETIMES its a real pain in the *** to turn down/up, like i gotta put a LITTLE umph into it, and it makes a really scary CLICK sound...should i be worried?
-
yes,you should be worried, have you taken it completeley out then put it back in?
the screw in the reg i mean
-
Its been like that since the day i got it really...
-
-
open up your reg and look for damage, in the form of sand, dirt, galling, or baws's.
-
nothing nope nill,
The screw dosent come down all the way but it comes up, can take it out and cleaned it, cleaned everything else, Orings were on. It just Dosent nor Hasnt come all the way down since the day i got it...

make sure your LPR block is set in the right position, it could be tight against the set screw making a leak, and the screw will be hard to get out. try and undo the screw as much as possible and pull out the whole LPR block, or push it in. just get that screw out completely seperated and things will be easy...
-
everything is set, didnt do anything but take out the LPR take it apart and clean it.
Only reason there was a leak cuz the velocity screw was al the way up, after i scred it down a little it stopped coming out of the breach.
-
oh. yeah thats normal just dont turn your velocity too high.
-
what about the set screw?
Does that come all the way down?
cuz mine stays up quite a bit.
AND when you shake a reg, does something make knows in it? the little washers in there? lol
-
Just take it to scott .. or someone that knows more .. your not gonna fix it on the internet .. i see your talking about your HPR and Bigred is talking about your LPR ..
are you try'n to remove that screw to clean the HPR fully ? why are you try'n to take it out ?
-
Was going to do a color swap. and just did a general clean.
Nothing has really changed since i got the gun.
Im not too worried. kinda aird it up and dry fired, worked and didnt hear/feel any leaks
Scotts not in till Tuesday i believe.
But if Bryson is there tomorrow. i shall stop in :P

the velocity screw dont come all the way out
when your screw is all the way in will leak until you back it out enough for ram to close the valve. you back the scew out to increase velocity
-
Kinda knew that part, was wondering more if the CLICK was a bad thing, and about the leak ty.
ok, well then she should be good then. if not ill fix 'er tonight.
